    just a quick one

is the remington ADL the only one with out the floor plate mag? or was ther other models trying to work out the model of a rem

The Remington Adl can only be loaded/unloaded from the top and does not have the facility to drop the floor plate.
The Bdl can be loaded/unloaded from the top but has the facility to unload from the drop plate released by a small button inside the trigger guard.

Early (custom kevlar stock models) from the custom shop came in an ADL format as did the first series of regular stainlses and titanium mountain models.

hi, the cdl has a drop floor plate, given the choice i would go for a removable mag every time.

Hi unless it is an older rifle on said models or a semi custom of some sort it will be an ADL remmy. It is easy to change with a bit money spent ie H-S stock & a floor plate etc hope this helps.

ADL - Blind magazine (no floor plate and solid bottomed stock)

BDL - Floor plate (hinged swinging plate) open plate, cartridges drop out

Detach Mag models - these have removable box mag and an inlet in the base of the stock which llows the mag release to be depressed.

    Aftermarket mag systems are available:

HS Precision - flush fitting three round box mag with own bottom metal

Badger Ordanance (and their copies) - own bottom metal, takes Accuracy International single stack mags

Seekings Precision - similar to Badger, but use their own mags

There are several other types of magazine system available from custom makers such as Sunny Hill, PTG, Whyte etc as well....

Can't remember the model, but wasn't there a very light plastic stocked varmint model
with fluted sporter barrel and ADL style floor? came in standard varmint calibres.
Were sold maybe 4-5 years back.
    edi

ps. could be the LV SF which is discontinued

The Remington XR100 rangemaster is a solid bottom actioned rifle that could be easily mistaken for a 700 ADL configuration.
