    Binoculars repair

Anyone suggest somewhere to get my Leica bins repaired, the left hand side wont focus sadly. Already contacted Leica and they are quoting approx 300.

tell them that after you've now shared the experience with the UK's largest stalker forum, you've been recommended other brands in the future, as the other top/leading brands will endeavour to keep their customers with free repairs, and thus, also their reputation!

Just sent my Swarovskis 7 x 42 away for exactly the same problem 144 inc p&p and 'free' replacement eyecups and objective covers as well as one of the housings!. The most expensive part was for ocular putty x 2 ( they found one of the lenses was scratched so I presume this was for grinding)then labour and vat. Cannot wait for their return as I use them everyday and feel deprived without them.

Glasgow bino repairs are excellent. They repaired a ww2 pair of u boat binos my father gave me, very cheap and great service.

Ps my dad was royal navy and was 'given' them by our European friends during the forties!
