Depends on whether or not your farmer is a Presbyterian (large or wee "P"). If he is, you would be well advised to stay away on a Sunday.

There is a perception here in NI that Sunday is a "no shooting" day. What the law here actually says is "no bird may be shot on a Sunday". If the landowner is not opposed - make merry.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

I don't usually but only because it is my church and family day and this is my personal choice. When I wasn't doing the church thing and before I had kids I was out all the time on a Sunday except on my wife's family farm as her late Grandfather was of the 'no shooting' opinion.

    stalking on sundays

Just responded to this one the other thread PKL.
I have not got any ethical problems to stalking on sundays mate.
It works well with my pheasant shooting from Nov/Jan, wifey not happy about it but for different reasons.
Seriously though I do a lot of emergency and call outs that often run into saturdays, dont mind missing the odd driven day, but would hate to loose the chance of a walk out with rifle and dog .

Rifle yes, shotgun depends where. If it`s near a residential area then no, middle of nowhere then yes.
My dad who is in his late seventies still goes nuts if he knows i was shooting on a sunday. I`ve said to him before that rabbits and pigeons don`t stop eating crops because it`s a sunday.
He`s old school through and through.
