    differant cartridges etc

    just thought i would post up some photos of some rounds / cartridges i hace recently inherited. some i know a bit about but some have no markings at all. any info would be appreciated

    finally found a use for empty .22 lr cases. targets for the air rifle

    any more information gratefully received and please correct me if i have it wrong. these are from my late fathers collection and im especially interested in the .30 rimfire and the .450 (hornet shaped) round

    Hi pj
    The .30 rimfire looks like a .25 Stevens Rimfire otherwise known as .25 Stevens Long. Introduced around 1900, discontinued 1942

    The .450 Eley marked round is probably a .450 Adams

    .45 stamped FA 43 would possibly be a .45 ACP 1943 Frankford Arsenal, Philadelphia, PA.
