    Blaser 30/06 & 222rem

OK, so, I have decided to part company with the Blaser. It is an excellent rifle by any objective standard, but I just can't bring myself to love the thing.

Stunning stock, grade 8 or 9, I bought it from MacLeod's a couple of years ago for a shed load of money.

30/06 Attache barrel, 20.5". Threaded and recrowned (15x1 spigot) by Steve Kershaw. He also made a thread cover with the front sight mounted on the cover.

222rem barrel, bought second hand here. Very accurate - .3" or thereabouts.

One bolt, two bolt heads and one saddle mount with rings. Here is how I see it, priced individually.

If some one wants to buy it as a job lot, I will let it go for 3300, otherwise, individual prices as listed below. Nothing goes on it's own until the stock sells first. I total this lot up at 3475.00.
    Stock (Grade 8-9 walnut) 1,950.00
    Bolt 350.00
    Sandle Mount & 30mm rings 250.00
    30/06 Barrel (Attache 20.5") 475.00
222rem Barrel (with mini bolt head) 450.00

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

I would urge you to reconsider: you have a stunning set up. I have recently invested in a new stock, and three new barrels, so I cannot justify buying yours. Otherwise I would bite your arm off.

    All the best

If for some reason you end up with the 30.06 barrel left my mate would take it off you at your asking price, I presume it comes with bolt head and mag?

That is the 30/06 barrel after Steve Kershaw threaded it and made the thread cover with the foresight mounted on the cover.

I should have said, the 222rem barrel is factory threaded 15x1 also.

Great piece of wood, and I can vouch for the quality of Steve Kershaw's work (I think you put me in touch with him when I had experienced a bad screw cutting job and he did an excellent rescue job). What will you be replacing it with?

Personly I am not a lover of wooden stocks,I like the modern materials used to make them but I must say that looks nice mate, that's proper wood not like the stuff they use on most rifles, keep it mate.
