    Bobjs,

Got both a standard wood stock and the extreme (what you called plastic).

    Not had any problems.

I have one in 6.5x55 and 300 win mag don't use the 300 too much but I have never had a problem with keeping zero. I was told by a Mauser employee once not to over oil the barrel bed area as it may effect the accuracy though.

    Thank you lads.

I don't have the cash for a rifle like this all im doing is helping a lad out who i have just met,

reading into it he has also just started to reload it, but his mate was loading some for him ?? so i think it could be a loading issue,

anyway thank you all for that ill let you know whats what when i get a chance to have a check over of the rifle and ill load some for him hear and take them with me.

    but thanks

    bob.

I have an M03 - no problems with it. What scope is he using?

A Mauser MO3 shouldn't have any problems, so would suggest it is either a loose 'scope or very poorly home loaded ammo.
I know of one that takes nearly everything fed into it and plonks bullets wherever they are aimed - nearly as good as my Blaser R93

    How did you get on?

Mine went back to the factory because it would not group, they took out all the flashing off the the stock moulding, where the two halves are fused together. This allowed the action to sit squarer in the stock, it did improve but only marginally.

I never could get the accuracy that I had come to expect from my Sako so I sold it, but that was probably because I was sold one with the light sporter barrel. I should have had the patience to wait for a short solid barrel to be imported, but typically I wanted it "now!" And not in three months time. My fault.

    I hope this helps.

    i forgot all about this,

He sent it back and it came back shooting not much better,

he returned it with a letter saying that he was not happy with it, he has had a full refund,

and he went and got a second hand Sako 75 in 308 i believe. ??
