Advise needed on variable scope please

Good evening all! I'm just awaiting the delivery of my new 6.5 x bolt and needing a glass to top it ! I'm after a variable mag for use in woodland and open field stalking, price wise I will have about 5/600 ish. Also needs to be good in low light. Your help would be gratefully needed!
    Thanks stu

Minox scopes seem to show pretty well in that bracket if you're buying new. Also Kahles, Meopta et al. See what MacLeods of Tain have in the ex-demo section. Would still buy a better second hand scope though.....

Meopta. The 3-12x56 R1R if you can get it second hand but they are rarer than truthful politicians
