    moderater question

    right lads
i have a predator wildcat 8 for my 223 would it be feasable and above all SAFE to get it properly drilled a fraction bigger so that
it would be able to use on a .243 so that i wouldnt have to buy another mod and can then put the savings into a jhati jakt jacket
as both rifles are half inch thread

Seeing as how the P8 is of modular construction why not just buy the correct baffle stack?

No need for an entire new mod.

Don't forget you need authority on your firearms licence to use a moderator for each calibre you intend to put it on!

as said you can buy different baffles but I'd just fit the larger one and use that to make absolutely sure you could never have the wrong one in.

+ 1 on this. It's a fully strip down mod and can be changed at will if you have the alternate sized baffles

My FAC simply states 'Full bore moderator' as a permitted device - it isn't calibre specific.
