First buck ive ever shot. 6 point buck, heart shot at 150 metres

Out stalking last saturday with tikk308. After following alot of deer in the morning but none of them being bucks we went back to the landy and drove upto a good viewing spot for lunch. Just sat down to each lunch in the landy when we spotted a doe and buck opposite about 500 metres away. Got 3/4 through sandwich and dog ended up with the rest of the lunch . Stalked onto the deer and once we reached 150metres laid down to have a look through the scopes, watched the buck for a while before taking the shot. He dropped on the spot, we waited 10 minutes before heading over to where the deer was laid. After i was shown how to grollach we took the deer back to the landy.

We then went to see the farmer and stopped for a cuppa and chat before heading back for a short evening stalk. Just opened my packet of crisps ( can you see a pattern here ) when tikk308 spotted two deer in the field about 300 metres away, (no the dog didnt get my crisps this time i just saved them for later lol ) again we slowly stalked down toward the deer and at 120 metres stopped as the buck kept looking in our direction. Tikk308 took the shot and the deer ran about 20 metres before dropping. We sat for a couple of minutes watching the deer before taking the dog to where the bullet strike was allowing him to track the blood trial to where the deer was for a little bit of training for the dog as he is only young. Carried out the grollach and took the deer back to the landy before heading home.
