    duracoat a scope ?

    hello, does anybody know where i can get a tired but good scope freshened up, im in scot borders if any gunshops can do it, or i will post it away cheers

    Dave is a good chap he has done work for me in the past, at one point he was only coating customers rifles, not sure if that has changed. JamesClark is the certified Duro-coat applier in the UK, he did the official training course in the USA at lauer. If I was looking for coating I know who I would use, get a quote off both is my advice.

    Thanks for all the info and offers, i see duracoat supplies a kit with a little air can to spray your own , they are about 30 dollars . can we get them in uk as im keen on trying this myself. I know the guys that can do this are pros but i cant afford the price tag. cheers guys.

    Another + 1 for Dave Wylde, for the paint system to work properly it is placed in an oven to aid the curing process, best left to the experts, especially if an expensive scope...
