    which sticks?

    what are you guys using and recomending?
    dont mind spending upto about £150 any more i will need a big push lol

    Stoney Point - without hesitation - but the Primos trigger stick looks interesting too.

    Trigger stick tri-pod.

    Not the cheapest, or the lightest, but by far the most versatile.

    I have a pair of those promos sticks and they are in my opinion ok for standing shots but to high for sitting as you cannot get them low enough, and they are a bit heavy on the weight and the price!!!

    Nooooooo !! Call me a cheap skate but why spend this much on a tool you can make yourself for a few pounds?! The expensive ones might be able to do one or two things that home made ones can't but in my book it doesn't justify the extra £100. Garden center do 6ft bean poles. Add some bungee elastic and you are sorted. There will be pictures on the forum I am sure.

    They can be used as a single stick, twin stick or 4 sticks. I've not seen anything more cost effective yet.

    if you knew me and tools you would not be recomending i make anything hence why i buy stuff ready made :>)

    Try Moray Outfitting on here, they do a cracking kit for making your own with the metal garden poles from B&Q..
