    Surrey Police Firearms Licensing

Interesting piece of news from today's NRA email...
From September, Surrey Police Firearms licensing will be converting to a paperless office. This will involve scanning the contents of some 13000 files and running the paper-based and paperless systems in parallel. There are likely to be delays to their service for about 6 months. If your FAC is due for renewal in Surrey between September 2012 and about March 2013, please allow plenty of time for your application to be processed.

More "plenty of time" on top of the "plenty of time" you already need to leave? Is there a definition of what "plenty of time" means in this case?

I'm not sure! Surrey have always been quite fast and efficient with me for renewals and variations...
