    Howa 222-50 ammo advice needed

    Hi All

My Brother bought a Howa 24" Varmint yesterday in 222/50, we have started the Conditioning process cleaning after every shot to 10 then every 2 for 20.

Has anyone got any advice for finding some Factory Fox Rounds to feed it, lots of posts on here but no one has posted about this calibre.

We would welcome your thoughts on what to try and any that you have found it will not like.

    Thanks for reading

Do you by any chance mean a 22-250 Remington or .222 Remington with a 50 Grain bullet? Possible typo?
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Unlikely error as Howa don't do .222 Rem.

I don't think we will ever see any manufacturer offer anything other than .223 in future models, so the 222 will go into decline.
    That's sad.
If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.

I didn't know that Howa don't make a .222, so it is probably a .22-250 the OP was asking about.
I would agree that the .222 is less popular than .223 but I wouldn't go quite as far as to say that no manufacturer will make rifles in that calibre in the future only no manufacturer looking at the U.S. market, it is still very popular in Europe after all.
