    Dippers in the rain

Went up to the Dales last week, 500 mile round trip and it rained the whole day, I dont remember when I was so wet, the river is in the bottom of a gorge so light was at a premium, these were the best i managed, will have to go back as they are enthralling birds and despite the rain I had a great day

Thanks for the pics, i love watching the dipper work the river.
I will say to my client, 'look dipper' there usual answer is 'where?'
When i was guiding i noticed what must have been the same bird nest in the same tree for 5 years in a row, but sadly not this year.
But thankfully there is still a healthy amount on the River Teign in Devon.
    Cheers
    Richard
