    wanted 7mm-08 Brass.. please

Hi all have just started reloading for my 6.5 and 7mm-08, I have plenty of brass for the 6.5 but none for the 7mm-08 I have 100 tounds of Federal but the rifle doesnt arrive for another 3 months... Thanks Tikka. I want to do some loads to play with wi=hen the rifle arrives, have tried to find some brass but it seems very expensive unless you go for Winchester which I have been advised against

I'll jump in before Muir does and suggest that you convert .308 cases to 7mm-08. After all .308 cases are available everywhere and shouldn't cost the earth.
Just don't take converted cases to France!
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

You could neck up .243 brass for the French use.

I've got 95 Remington 260 Remington cases that have just been annealed and are surplus to requirements. I could run them through a 7mm expander if you are interested in them? I did this before for another 7mm08 user and they are still using the cases. Regards JCS

OK if you read my post I havnt said its no good, I have explained that I have just started reloading ie in the last few weeks so I know three quarters of bugger all about the subject. I did say that I have been told that the winchester brass is not that good. so lets put this another way you could be helpful to a beginner and tell me why winchester brass is ok for me to buy and reload with, that would be much more useful... dont you think ?
