the 595 is a cracking rifle,no plastic like the T3s,I would have a 595 over a T3 any day of the week.

Hmmmmm -- My 595 243 has plastic mag & furniture - My old M55 223 has no plastic on it at all. Both great, reliable rifles that shoot well.
You can buy a "bad" second hand rifle of any make if it has been messed with or abused, but new or well maintained Tikkas invariably are good shooters and are reliable.

I have a 595 and it is a super smooth action and from what I can gather alot better action than the newer Tikka's
If at first you don't succeed, reload

Everyone seems to rate the 595s very highly, if it was in good nick I'd go for it.

I've a M55 which has no plastic on it and a friend has the T3 lite. Can't see the issue with plastic parts personally; I'd almost consider swapping the m55 for a T3 if the T3 was a bit cheaper new.
