    Question Waterproof stalking jacket

Hi after getting soaked whilst stalking at the weekend can any one recommend a good waterproof stalking jacket?
Quite like the look of the ridgeline monsoon smock - any good or does it leak like a sieve??

    Cheers

the swazi tahr looks the biz but on my budget i went for the monsoon and i have been well impressed just dont wear too much underneath as you will sweat just layer correctly and you will be fine had mine for around 7-8 months and its never leaked one bit even with the harshest of weather ,atb wayne

Ridgeline quality is average at best compared to Stoney Creek or Swazi. Swazi quality is good but the thar is a heavy jacket when wet and does not pack away small if this is imnportant to you.

Hi Russian Sniper. My Experience with a monsoon smock is that the waterproof qualities are good and generally great design, I have had mine for two years and lived in it. But the hood drove me mad and I had to cut it off, it was an awful design. It didnt have side pockets. That has all been rectified in the second edition that was launched at the Game Fair last year. Be careful make sure you get the one with the side pockets, their are a lot of the old ones being sold off cheap. Just my observations hope you find them useful.
