    Hi I was just wondering how do you become a accredited witness?

    Andy. Download the application form from here: http://www.dmq.org.uk/download.htm fill it in and send it off. Regards JCS

    call one of the assessment centres (bds, basc ect) and apply , they will tell you what is required

    As above have said, however, you will now need to wait until next year before you get the brief, the last one for this year was in Bridge of Earn, when the Scone Game Fair was (not) on. They are only delivering 2 maybe 3 per year......

    Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
    The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
    Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
    The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

    Do they do any in the yorkshire area

    I went to cateriick garrison but that might have been a 1 off when we were all re-briefed

    The other 2were at BASC & BDS HQ's no more planned as far as I know this year.

    Yip, that's it for the year.

    Here is the LINK it will get updated when the new dates are arranged.

    They said they are only running 2-3 briefs a year. There is not the attendance to justify more.
