    Narrow Sling Studs?

    Hello, Everyone.

Is it possible to buy narrow sling studs so that my Blaser sling will fit my Sako? I believe the Sako uses 8mm studs but, apparently, I need 6mm studs...

    Any help much appreciated.

    Many thanks,

I have just gone through that scenario with my Blaser, Sako and Remingtons.
I got round it by filing the studs, just a little off each side and now my slings fit all my rifles.

I don't know how much the stud would cost but the sling swivels to fit are 40.00 because not only are the studs narrower but the hole is smaller too.
I found the most economical way to get round it was to file the stud, blue it with cold blue when finished and I have put a white spacer on the stud before replacing it.

Many thanks for your suggestions. The sling came with sling swivels, so that's no problem. Looks like I can either file the studs or fit narrower ones, if I can get them.

    Thanks again,

Resorted to getting the file out and now the sling fits. Quick, easy and free! No re-bluing necessary as the studs are stainless steel. Many thanks for your help.
