Ive just picked up a martini francotte patten. very good condition made in 1904. does anyone know much about these guns?

Calibre and chambering might help.

The BSA .22 L/R ones like the Model 12, 12.15, Model 15 etc were made on the Francotte type action.

This one isnt a BSA, Its more of a scaled down military rifle. tiger stripe walnut etc. so far been unable to find the makers stamp in the centre of the action. can anyone provice any information... martini 3.jpg

Is this rifle by Francotte, the Belgian company ? Francotte is one of the big names in Belgian arms. Comparable with big names in the UK , like H&H , Purdey, Rigby, ....

IM not sure who made it. thats what im trying to identify. know its made in belguim too a francotte pattern, but not sure on the makers stamp on the side.
