    7x64 & 139 interlocks Load?

Anyone using Hornady 7mm 139 grains?
Used R22 & N160 best loads group 5 at an inch but sure it can be better (getting that with factory loads), cant take them any further towards the lans as they are at max for my magazine. Heard H4850 is worth a try, any idea's?

Seat them deeper and try again.

Not much help but I get amazing accuracy from 175grn heads, I zero at 200 yds. My favorite load is RWS brass, CCI LR primer, 47 grains H4350 and a 175grn sierra boat soft point.

My rifle is a cz and I can't seat the bullet to the lans as the bullet would drop out of the case, I load them to as long as the magazine will take.

The reason I say seat them deeper is that when I had to change tot eh 139 Grn BTSP from the 139 Grn Spire Point (flat based) due to not being able to pick up any Spire Points although using the same load and seating depth the group with the BTSP opened up a LOT. I had to seat the bullets much deeper to get the grouping back under MOA. Ended up with the crimp ring about 0.030" out of the case mouth.

I use them in my 7x65r - 51.5g of imr 4831 - seems to work pretty well for me - c1" at100 yds with three rounds out of a combination gun.

I think the 7x64 and 65r must have very long throats - I have just got a box of RWS 177gn ammo - the bullets have no taper until the final round nose - there is about 1" of bullet beyond the case ( ok may be exaggerating and don't have calipers or ruler to hand!)

Cheers Brithunter, tried stuffing them back another 50thou which is a massive jump to the lans due to the length of the throat on this rifle, worked the loads from min and upto max 54.7gr of H4350. The sweet spot was the max load. 5 shots just over 1/2" and the ave MV over 10 shots was 3028fps. Bet the reds love these.
    Thanks gents

    Glad to be of help.

Just another one which makes me wonder about the supposedly superiority of having the bullet close the the leade ?

Don't know about the others but I look forwards to seeing some dead beastie pictures .
