Nice Buck

Hello all, I shot what I consider a nice buck recently, but I wanted someone with experience to cast their views please.I am not very experienced when it comes to assessing heads.
One side measured 24 cm and the other 26cm and it was a five pointer. One side was like a javelin.
Thanks in advance

Just looked again it has got some volume low down, you never know.
Have you any photos from the front?
and leave a full skull dont cut till after measuring.

I will look if I have a front view of it and put it on here.
I have prepared the head and yes left it whole at the moment.
I am not too bothered about trophies however I just wondered how it compared with other heads.
This is one of the best bucks I have shot only one other compares with it.
In my limited experience

What does the skull weigh?, needs to be in the region of 450-500g dried out to be worth measuring.

I did not weigh the skull but will and see.
Does it after be 24 hours after or will it be ok to do now?

I take it that is the full skull not cut??

If so roughly it will come in at 95 CiC points give or take.

Disclaimer. This is a method I learnt at the weekend to get close to the measurement. I am yet to test it against ones I have got measured. I have been assured it works :)

Yes full skull. In layman`s terms is 95 cic points good? I aint got a clue what it means.
Thank you for your asistance it is appreciated.

Worth getting measured Facemeister, but I think it may be borderline, but no cost involved if it doesn't make medal, so nothing to lose.

Eggy, curious as to your formula, I was told one which is weight, 453 as in Facemeisters, minus 90, times 0.23, plus 20, equals 103.49.

This gives a rough guide but the ones I have tried it with usually have scored in reality less.
