    trouble reloading privi cases

anyone, had trouble loading prvi partizan cases.
i have 150 once fired prvi cases, but when it came to resizing the case is very tight in the chamber and trouble closing ther bolt.
the case is tight going into the resizing tool, at the head of the case.
i know there cheap *****, but other wise there going in the bin.
any clues as to why !!
    thanks in advance, mark.

Once fired in your rifle, I'm assuming? I had a similar problem with 6.5x55 PPU and I had to back my FL die off a little to solve the problem.~Muir

Forgot: That was with the RCBS dies. The Lee FL dies, I screwed the sizer in a little tighter.

do you have the resizing die set correctly? there really is very little wrong with Prvi cases, I am up to 6 reloads on mine and no issues, they size easily and always load/extract like a dream, what calibre are they? and what case lube are you using ?

As has been said, there is nothing wrong with PPU ammo or brass.
I have used both 30-06, .308, .243 and the odd .222 and had no problems with PPU brass whatsoever.
I'd be looking at the die set-up if I had any problems with it.

far from beign as you put it :-

The reason they are tight is that you have not done your job properly.. Comes down to the old addage ........................... a bad workman blames his tools.

    Sort out your sizing etc.

And no I have not had problems with them and have used NNY and privi marked cases for many years in three different chamberings without the problems you have.

size one of your cases and prime it , smoke it over a candle ,then chamber it you will be able to find the contact points ,i find PPU 30-06 -270 -243 brass good ,havent used others .

IMO, nothing wrong with PPU cases, certainly not in .308.
I have some on the 7th reload without any problems.
However, I think the internal case volumes are slightly smaller than some other makes.

I suggest you try a better case lube.
You could also use a RCBS small base sizing die.
