Has anybody had a synthetic stock dipped by hydrographics? Thinking of getting my Sauer 202 dipped in real tree hd and wondered if anybody has any experience of scratch resistance and durability?
I had my H-S Precision Stock dipped Satin Carbon Fibre which i thought pretty. Would not have it done again on a Rifle i use in the Field. Scratches easily and being brittle has chipped in a few places too.
Maybe i am just a clumsy git though and others could well have fared better.
Had a steyr prohunter that had been dipped and have a howa 1550 that has been dipped, both by hydrographics.
They both were har wearing and looked much better than the originals, but were slippy when wet, they now do a soft touch non slip lacquer, never seen it, but it must be an improvement.
