I've got one. I have to admit to not looking after it as well as I should and it very rarely lets me down. They really are as tough as old boots. Only thing I've found is that a good clean out of the gas thingy that makes it reload does wonders. How much is yours costing if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds cheap enough to me. I'll bet you'll use more cartridges with the 3x shots.

I had the 303 with the very rare 32" sporter barrel and used it for shooting sporting and fitasc, great guns that can be had for very small money these days.

I have a couple of 303s that i have had for years, great for pigeon shooting which is all i use them for these days. I have had trouble with light loads, I was teaching a friend to shoot clays and it did not like 21 grams but it probably needed a clean even though switching to 28grams resolved the problem.

    Hi Scout

I've had a 20b 303 for about 15 years and I bought it second hand. The only problem I've had was when I recently bought some 21g cartridges and it started to struggle cycling them.

    I'd buy another.
