    Squeaking Meindls

Has anyone suffered with squeaking meindl boots, mine have started creaking on both heels. They are 5 months old and well looked after with regular waxing.
Anybody with an idea on how to cure this I would be really greatfull.

try leaving them out side a couple of nights to get the leather moist again, than apply leder gris , from altberg boots.http://www.altberg.co.uk/Web/bccare.jsp

I have had the same problem with mine...No amount of wax or oil cures the problem and its one of the reasons I barely use them now...

Use a small dab of Vaseline on the tongue. It works a treat on my various pairs of Meindls. It needs to be reapplied as and when, but it's an effective solution.

I spent the weekend out with the TA in my newly issued Boots. I spent the whole weekend wishing i could be wearing my Meindl's.

Had the meindl's over two years, worn them almost every day and they are as good as new. not once have i had sore feet or a blister from them.

Guess what, got blisters the size of golf balls from those bloody issue boots!!
