    Screwfix Mod Paint

As my moderator was rather tired I stripped the old paint off today with a scotchbrite wheel, Once it was shiny I degreased with meths and left to dry. Thought I would try a cheap paint from Screwfix, No Nonsense Heat Proof paint. Sprayed it on as directed in thin layers and left to dry. I then cooked it in the oven at 250 deg C for 2.5 hours. Just removed it and it is superb!! a flawless finish that can be left matt or a quick spray with WD40 gives it a nice sheen.

I use hammerite BBQ paint, clean with meths, couple of coats and a 10 shot string through it to cure properly... :-)
