    BRNO spares

was wondering if anyone knew of any specialists for old BRNO spares?

been searching the interweb but nothing really stands out.

I need a bolt collar for a mini mauser .222

if all else fails perhaps an email to CZ (not the US dept.) or hoosiergunworks.com who specialise in mauser parts

    thanks for the help

Have rung Charlie Young, not in
    rang Edgar Brothers, busy!
Emailed CZ, no reply as yet!

turns out the rifle is basically an indentikit of the CZ527 including the bolt parts, that at least widens my search

bolt works Ok with the cracked extractor collar but it is bound to open and spit the extractor out into a puddle on a dark night somewhere remote!

Hi, its a little old but Ill post my reply anyway.

I recently e-mailed Cz Europe regarding spare parts and general information of the older Brno rifles.

    "Dear Sir,
I am afraid my answers to your questions are not too favourable.
Firstly, the production of the ZKK 601 model has been discontinued in 1996, now there are no more spare parts available. We do not make any customizing work on such old models as is the ZKK 601 line, only repairs and maintenance.
Actions dimensions differ from the ZKK 600.
Some spare parts are available for the ZKK 600 line as some parts are identical with those used for our current CZ 550 line. The same could be applied also for the ZKK 602 and the CZ 550 Magnum. "

I suppose that might apply for other older versions as well, logcally at least. Unfortunately. However they write they do repairs and maintenance, but shipping a rifle to Cz have to be more expensive (and possibly risky) than getting a local gunsmith
    to do the work..

    Regards
    Andy.
