    Hello All

I'm new to the site, but have been shooting for some time as shot at school and in the army and now am a recreational deer stalker.

    I have a Sako 75 Syn/St in 6.5x55 topped off with Swarovski Z6i 3-18x50.

No real expectations of having to buy a new freezer to hold the vast quantities of venison that I'm going to shoot, but enjoy getting away from real life every so often, to enjoy the peace and quiet of a slow, methodical stalk through nature.

Very happy to chat with like minded folk, and looking forward to getting out on new land when the opportunity arises

Forgot to mention that I'm DSC1 and a member of a stalking syndicate.

I also travel to South Africa once a month on business, and having tried the WISK (wildebeest impala springbok kuku) kebab, can't see myself turning veggie anytime soon...

Yes, eventually... went to school there, back when there were shops and not just estate agents

My uncle still lives there and is a member on here....

I was at school here and so was my wife -albeit different schools and 5 years apart!

I remember when there was one supermarket (International), 2 butchers, 2 bakers and a greengrocers. Waitrose was still The Earl of Beaconsfield, Bar Revolution was The Beech Tree and Hughes sold petrol!

    Just pinged John
