    Gerber Parang recall

    Product Recall

We have received a product recall notice on a batch of Bear Grylls Parang Machetes, identified by the core SKU (22)-31-000698. A weakness in the area where the handle meets the blade has been identified which could cause either handle or blade to break during use, thus posing a laceration threat. If the Parang you have purchased bears the SKU number (22)-31-000698 please contact us on +44 (0) 1752 776507 or sales@rvops.co.uk.
Gerber apologize for the obvious inconvenience and will be sending free of charge replacements from stocks of the new batches as a matter of priority. Further information can be found on their website at Gerber Gear

Don't bladed implements always pose such a threat - with or without a broken handle?

Dunno, some of the s**t that's sold, it's more likely to be blunt trauma
    Better barbarity than boredom
