A Hunter's Tale.

Two days in the wet Northlands. The half price Harikla boots (bought after a tip off on this site) kept my feet bone dry. The £900.00 Docter scope let the rain in and if I had not had another rifle (the trusty old 30.06) with me that would have been stalking over for the trip.
What's the moral of this tale I wonder?

Martin, scope going to Germany in the morning once I get a hold of the torques to get the bloody thing off the rifle!!! The joys of hunting!

Fortunately I did deeangeo. Maybe that's what the moral should be for us all? We'll see what other gems come in and we can make an Aesop's Fable about it!
