yeah its all true mate but apart from a bit of faffing about its not too bad really, i think it depends on who deals with you. probably took best part of two months to get my licence opened from first requesting it but once id had the interview it only took 2 weeks or there abouts

As a member of Police Support Staff, he wouldn't have much good to say about G4S. Holiday pay and sickness pay due to police staff is not payable to their G4S equivalent staff. Rates of pay are generally less under G4S. The FEO of a neighbouring force must be terrified of G4S employment being forced on him soon.

20.250 if the TUPE law applies his conditions are safeguarded , the savings are usually made by better working systems and clamping down on sick days which is far higher in the public sector.

he wasn't worried about Notts outsourcing as he has been trying to leave for a while but they wont let him he offered to take redundancy but they said no. His main concern was the fact that G4S arn't that strickt on who they hire to do a job, so they could well hire someone to work as an FLO and that someone has no idea what their talking about. The other issue he raised was having someone working for G4S knowing exactly whom in a certain area has firearms what fireamrs they have and exactly where they keep them.

    In which direction?

I thought that to apply for the job you had to have no knowledge of firearms at all, as this may influence your opinion in a way that may differ from the CC.
