    A&E Update

Well only spent 4 hours in A&E.

All my jabs are up todate so no worries there. But as for my finger it was septic, swollen and on fire. Have to admit after in half hour wait to see the nurse it went well. She took one look and said "that needs sorting now".

Doctors drained the gunk and washed it out with salt water, well it was not but it bought water to my eyes. Shot of antibiotics pile of pills and on my way home.

After 8hrs my finger looks more like the finger I had at the begining of the week.
I wont stop me stalking in Scotland tomorrow and glad I took my flask

Its all covered up and feeling better thankyou.
But it does show you how a little scratch can go wrong.

As for the midland game fair we are not aloud to to sell bison or venison burgers as the catering is all bought out by a big burger company and it is all their own vans. So no not working there. May go for a walk round, but stalking till friday so may be pushing it with the wife.
    Cheers Andrew

That reminds me of when j cut through the webbing between my thumb and index down to the bone, 26 stitches and jabs etc in Liverpool general, then jumped in the car and drove back to north bucks!

Can't even see where it was now - amazing triage nurse (cute too)!

Couldnt say a word - not even a wimper - wouldn't have got my lolly!!

The point of the story IS youve got a septic finger "boring" , lets know how your Deer Stalking goes in Scotland it will no doubt be more interesting .

    Charming Bob.

Glad you got it sorted BB, looks like whatever it was could have taken hold. Did they take a swab?

Yes they did. I'll know by the end of the week.

I might have to rethink my first aid procedures. 'rubbing soil in it' doesn't look like a good idea after seeing that.

At least it's sorted and you can get on with the stalking!
