Thread: Tractor Project

    Tractor Project

    Morning Gents.
Just an enquiry to see if any of you know where there is a disused tractor doing nothing.
The reason for this request is because I was asked by one of my work collegues, who's husband fell by the wayside nearly 10 months ago due to the dreaded drink.
Since then he has attended the AA, taken up past hobbies such as painting (landscapes) and fishing and has not touched a drop since.
He is a fully trained mechanic and a good one at that.
He is looking for an old tractor as a rebuilding project over the winter months.
If anybody knows where there is one sitting doing nothing it would be gratefully recieved.
Ideally because of transpotation, looking for something in Central Scotland if possible.

    Thanks for looking

    Best regards

    DavieH

Well too far and have no idea who it belongs too but there is a Bull Dozer with a tree growing through it not so far from here. I keep meaning to go and take a photo of it but forget to during the winter. has to be winter and the tree leaves cover it in summer.

    Hi DavieH,

Might be worth looking at the farm sales up scotland way to see what they have. Ebay does have a few on going cheap..... Could also try some of the classic tractor forums, someone might be after a mechanic to do some work on theirs.

    Hope he finds something,

    Kind regards,

    Mark

Try Thainstone Mart (ANM Group) near Inverurie (Aberdeenshire)

They often have used / old machinery auctions

They have a decent website I think .... just google it
