    On that note, Bracken has not been as strong this year in some areas anyhow certainly around my neck of the woods.

    Lucky you, wish I could say the same! Been a bad year for all the wrong stuff growing!

    Ain't going to get any better now that Asulam, the main herbicide used for bracken control has been banned!!!

    +1 we been dousing every square inch of bracken this year to get in before the ban starts.....hopefully there will be some nice clear bracken free ground for deer to wander across next year.......
