    Registered deer dog

    Hi all,

I registered my experienced GWP deer dog for services available in Dumfries and Galloway but as of yet have had no interest!

This is not a problem... just thought I'd put it out there again and see what response was offered?

Have you had any joy with your registered deer dog on TSD?

If you find yourself needing assistance in D&G and are stuck for a deer dog to assist your recovery feel free to call. 07788257976.

If I'm available at that time I'll be willing to help. All I would ask is my fuel is covered!

    Thanks All

    Dennis

    No interest then Dennis?

I think given the myraid of opinions, all the different angles on what defines a deer dog and with such hot potato of a subject that this is it is unlikely you will ever get a request but I could be wrong.

When the subject was first raised on the forum of a register there was a big humdinger regarding compitence. Some saying any dog with a good nose and a little expereince would do to the others who beleived your name had to be Hans Von Teiterhoffan and your dog had to have an equally unpronouncable name and conform to test standards not relevant to this country...

You also need to think of demand how far are you prepared to travel, remember a lot of us will go from one year to the next without ever needing a dog.

3} Recreational stalkers want to see some sort of qualification before calling you out..........????????? Remains to be seen?????

    My moneys on number 1 + 2
I think your looking to deep here. Maybe there is simply no call on those registered as it is a service that is not in demand.
