    Carcass handling and butchery demo.

    The BDS N.W.England Branch are holding a Demo at Over Kellet Village Hall on November 18th.
    Display of equipment by Monarch Country Products. "Hands On " tuition from Field to Table !

    Hi All

    As stated above we will be supporting this event & on the day there will be deals on larder knives, bone saws, OutDoor Edge & Mora field knives, the popular Monarch "Ghillie" Roe Sack and other essential stalking kit.

    2013 WILL SEE THE NORTH WEST BRANCH OF THE BDS HAVING CARCASS HANDLING AND BUTCHERY DEMO'S FURTHER SOUTH IN THE BRANCH AREA (CHESHIRE TO START WITH) AND ARRANGEMENTS ARE ALREADY IN HAND !! DSC Level 1 Courses are also arranged in the North West by the B.D.S.

    I attended one of these BDS butchery demos at Over Kellet about 3 years ago. Well set out and presented. Hands on butchering if you want to have a go. And good to catch up for a chat.

    Thanks chaps

    The postcode for the event is LA16 1DR (Bay View) and hall is 50yrds away.

    Start time is 9am till 1pm.

    Hopefully will be a good turnout as interest has been quite strong.

    A little ..well big mouse has just informed me theres no bacon butts on , so get your brekie before you travel . Unless any locals know of a decent greasy spoon ???
