    Browning a-bolt trigger spring

Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone has any experience with changing the spring on a A-bolt? And what spring did you use ? Timney or rifle basix ?
    Thanks in advance Gordon

I use the timney kit. Specifically the light spring. Some folk think its too light for hunting but I have never had an issue even with winter gloves on.

Cant remember what kit I used but it had 2 springs 1 very light and another a little heavier I put the very light 1 in as thats how I like my triggers. If you want the original spring and the second from the kit are here and are surplus to requirements. Pm me your addy and ill chuck them in the post for you.

I have a Timney spring kit fitted to my A-bolt. Cant fault it, very crisp with no creep and set at 2 1/2lb of pull its as light as id want it.

    Hi,

Anyone know where I can buy a Timney spring kit for a .243 Browning A bolt. Everywhere I've called are out of stock and don't seem to be able to get from U.S at the moment.
