    Proof testing hand loads

Has anyone submitted their hand loads to the proof house for testing before. Does anyone know what feedback you get from them? In particular will they confirm if the loads meet CIP standards

Yes i have submitted .500 nitro rounds to the Birmingham proof house, you get velocity and pressure data back, you can not reload the rounds as they get little holes put in the cases, was very usefull data, cost was around 60 quid (5 rounds) if i remember but that was a while back.

I take mine down to Kynoch and get velocity and pressure back if I remember they were about 5 each which is a lot cheaper than the proof house and they will do them while you wait thumbs up from me.....
