    Insurance Options

    Hi all

I currently have membership of both BDS and BASC.

I have also joined the CPSA.

Question is - I need BDS for stalking specific stuff, will CPSA cover replace BASC for game shooting? Keen to reduce both spend as well as the number of magazines!

I can't use alternative due to having to be a member of both BDS and CPSA...... much as i would like, and many of you will advise!

    Thanks

    shooting is shooting
wasnt aware there were any shortfall between rifle and shotgun shooting cover on either the BASC or BDS.

BASC certainly covers rifle shooting and by that ...stalking

Here we go, yet again. Plenty of threads on this theme.
Ask yourself why you are a member of each organisation. Is it primarily for insurance, or because you support what that specific organisation does and the insurance is a bonus?
A phonecalll to the CPSA will answer the question as to whether they cover solely clay target or include field sports as well.

Edit: Syndicates often require each member to have insurance - CPSA may not cover game shooting?

You really need to talk to the orginisations involved be aware that having insurance with one may cancel out the other.

One thing is certain, you would only be able to claim off one.

The answer to the original post appears to be 'yes'.

My initial view was that the CPSA would cover but useful to have 2nd+ opinions.

Membership of BDS required to be member of another org.

CPSA required to validate Clay safety qualification

    Thank you
