The devil makes work for idle trigger fingers..... ****.
Owning a gun or knife and not using it, is akin to not sleeping with your girlfriend to keep her neat and tidy for the next bloke.

Wonder if he's going to lose a months salary as I would...
Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

Negligent discharge more like, how could it of been an accident? He loaded and made ready, then pulled the trigger, thats not an accident imo.

Accidental discharge in his car. Allways wondered what they did in those cars for hours on end, then again you can never see there hands. Never mind, most of it should come out with deturgent.

Far too soft these days.... In my time it was cash and time in the pokey, all depending on how mean the Old Man was feeling on the day. Mind you, makes you wonder what sort of 'team' the Royalty protection mob are?
