Cull Stag, Field to Fridge 230

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING A PM, I AM NOT OFFERING A DAYS DEER STALKING ON RED DEER, IT IS THE CULLING OF A RED DEER AS PART Of A DAYS TRAINING

    The Trophy Barn is offering.
The cull of an animal and taking it from the field to the fridge in a day. Although you will be working on a large deer, the day will give you the basic understanding on how to prosess a deer of any size.

The opportunity for a novice / beginner deer stalkers with experience with centre fire rifles, to cull a red deer as part of a days training, within the next two weeks.

The stags in question have become very wild and can not be removed safely from the area that they have taken up resident. So they will be taken from a high seat.

    The day will include:
Range time from a hight seat, shooting from 80 to 150 yards.
    Bullet placement
Culling of a red stag under supervision
Hands on training in the gralloching
Training in inspection of the carcass for disease
Hands on training in skinning the beast
Breaking the carcass down into its primary pieces for the larder
I can provide a rifle ammo at cost.

Shooting a deer is only half of it.
At the end of the day you will have shot, gutted, skinned and broken the animal.

    Cost 230.00
There is only two paces available and will be held in Leicestershire.
There is no meat damage costs.

B&B is available at 30 for the night.
Participants will be receive a small complimentary meat package

For more information please PM. Or contact me on 07930988744 or thetrophybarn@btinternet.com

cheers for a good day andrew ,anyone looking to further there carcass prep etc id highly recommend a day at the farm, day started with a nice bacon and egg sandwich cuppa then on to the range witch was very impressive setting with good targets and high seat (the ones i could see anyhow wont say to much) ,then onto the cull from a decent freestanding high seat i dispatched both beasts fairly quickly first within minutes second one took a little longer as he stood for a while with other stags both dropped within a few steps nice and clean ,andrew did the first gralloch witch he talked through in detail then my turn,,,
quick call to farm house to collect stags then onto the larder witch again is a very high standard ,the break down of both stags was a very helpfull and indepth afternoon and anyone doing this day will learn somthing if your willing to learn ,
andrew did take some pics ill put a few up when i get them ,,,happy days,,,
