Have you talked to Steve Beaty at Ivythorn? Not sure, but I think he sends them off to Neil McKillop....

Patrick Croft used to do quite a lot of barrel work for Steve when he worked for Avalon.
At one time had a lathe at the back of the shop.

See mine above. I also had mine shortened and he used the bit cut off to align with the barrel fluting.

So who did yours, you don't actually say, because he's already got my business as that is what I want.
    Any contact details also appreciated.
    Thanks

According to some of the members of this site, the guy that did this is a 'back street fettler' because he isn't a gunsmith so can't be any good !!
I will speak to him tomorrow and see if he is willing to do a job for someone other than me and see what he would charge.
Normally I arrange a time with him and wait while he does it.
Then I ask how much, then I normally double it.
It still doesn't come anywhere near the prices asked by some of the recommended gunsmiths mentioned on here.Attachment 21876Attachment 21877
Here's another bit of his work, a muzzle break with a 15 x 1 spigot thread.
