    CZ527 Scope Mounts ?

Hi can anyone advise me of which scope rings are best or will even fit. Rifle is a CZ527 hornet with a mod on. Scope is a meopta 1 inch tube with a 50mm objective.ive heard the bolt might be a problem. Someone said Warne medium but said it will be close to barrel just wondered if anyone can recommend something that will fit?

Does bolt foul scope mag ring?

Warne mediums are a gamble, standard CZ factory rings measure .550" from top of dovetail to bottom of scope.
I use mediums on mine, but I have ground a fair bit off the bolt knob.
    (medium Warne are about .450")

No matter what make or ring height you get, these will fit a 50mm objective. Every make on the market accommodates the angular base of the CZ527 bolt, so there's plenty of clearance ....... all trumpets way up to and (probably) beyond an 8x56 S&B will fit.

Because of the crook-backed bolt, the critical dimension on 'scopes is the size of the eyepiece. The problem here is to find a configuration that mounts the 'scope low enough to align the stock with your face. The CZ527 stock needs to be redesigned to a Monte Carlo shape, or have an adjustable comb feature. The 'American' model is better than the 'Classic' hogs-back, but isn't ideal.
If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.

same as the BRNO Fox Md 2

I run low mounts and 50 objective Nikko
I tried to run the same mounts with a 44mm objective scope but it fouled the occular bell

that is despite the bolt on mine being heavily modified

totally dependant on the scope you wish to fit

No it doesn't, about 7mm clear.

Try Millet mounts, here is a set of low 30mm mounts which gives clearance on this 50mm objective lense but its only slight but enough. had to grind the bold handle slightly for it to work.
