Ford Ranger Help!

Does anyone know how to get the heating control panel out? The lights don't work in the panel and I have checked all the fuses and they seem fine. The dash and clock are working fine. I have got the tool for removing the radio and it looks like the panel is the same system. Don't know where else to check?

Leave it alone and forget about it. When I've tried to replace blown bulbs in the heater control display panels on two different Ford cars in the past it turned into a nightmare. It's a lot of work to gain access, by contrast gaining access to the same on a Scania lorry is a piece of cake.

Thats for the American market. The UK spec does not have the large covering. Having taken the radio out with the specialist tools I wrongly presumed the heater would be the same as it appears to be the same mechanism. I took all the dial switches of and it still doesn't slide off!

Thinking about it the lights for the RFW dimmer etc don't work either so it's unlikely to be bulbs!? Quite odd as its an Ex police motor! I'm thinking they have makers the wiring when they have ripped out their stuff?
