    People are prone to exaggeration!

Rang my permission this evening as i am going out tomorrow morning.
Last time i was out was last Saturday with a friend.
Anyway the lady farmer said to me, 'oh before you go i had a gamekeeper knock on my door after you left last week, he was a little irate saying 4 people in cammo clothing and rifles were disturbing his pheasants' now i suspect he didnt expect the reply she gave him (she is in her 80's!) he was curtly told i have all the shooting rights and next time she finds pheasants on her land she will ring me and ask me to bring a shotgun!
But what made me chuckle was 2 guys had turned into 4 guys!

    Cheers

    Richard

take the gamekeeper a bottle of whiskey and have a chat you never know where it'll lead, good relations and all that , besides all gamekeepers can use an extra bottle this time of year
    a barony original

Yes keep in with the gamekeepers
remember as well that one fox = a pheasant a day
stalking and pheasant shooting can work together
but there are also potentials for problems on both sides

eg dont zero your 30.06 day before his big shoot

and on the other hand a big pheasant day can put the deer
    to flight and become nocturnal.

what I`m saying is we are all on the same side and need to work together.
    Ive worked both sides.

To have said what she did to the guy that knocked her door shows she isn't senile so how do you know it was you she was referring to when she clearly stated that it was after you left !!!
