Hi - just wondering whether any of the existing (Boyd, Macmillan etc) stock makers provide aftermarket stocks that would fit a .270 L61R Sako?

Mcmillan do an inlet for the 690 (which is similar)

If you were to consider laminate, Joe West Riflestocks will use your existing stock as a template for the inlet.

I think GRS also do an inlet for the 61

Bell & Carlson do their Carbelite stock in about 20 different finishes inletted for the L61R - they feel really nice for a relatively low cost stock.

What I was going to say and Adamant beat me to it Boggy.

You could then have it pillar bedded. Cushty.

How have you come on in your search?
Out yesterday and did the utmost damage to my bit of walnut - I now have a 2 piece!!!!!!!!
