    Goose breast !!!! help

Guys im getting nagged to death as been on the computer ages yet supposed to be looking up the best way to do Goose breast..

Luckily we had a great christmas with the turkey's, chickens and goose that were fattened up by the kids increasing enthusiasm as they grew..

Can anyone help me out with a great recipe for Goose breast for New Years apart from liking a portion.

    Many thanks

    Terry

    1. Place in pan with 1/2 pint of water & a breeze block.
    2. Simmer until breeze block is soft.
    3. Discard goose & eat breeze block.....

(Or you could do what I did with some I had recently, and make goose curry. A friend also tried stuffing them with soft cheese and wrapping them in parma ham)

Being fed and not fit to fly ***** the skin plenty and ensure fat can drain. Don't loose the fat though that is heaven for the roast tatties.

Salt goose breasts overnight then wash/rinse thoroughly.
Dice meat and brown in olive oil/ cooking oil
Put in casserole dish adding chopped onions chopped bacon beef stock
cranberries or cranberry jelly mushrooms herbs salt pepper port
    and crushed hazelnuts.
add flour to thicken 150 degree c for 2and a half to 3 hours.
could add grilled sausages for a variation.

Have never tried this but was told its very good eating.

Funny but true , Or use them to replace wornout boot leather .They go very smoked. Throw them in a hot fire for an hour. When they go black their finnished. I shoot them take the breast meat off and put the it in sausages.

Caserole the breast let the dogs nibble on the rest of it, I used an old Canada for fox bait once and nothing would touch it .
