Cheap n cheerful air rifle to teach my sons with

My boys keep asking about learning to shoot so I'm after a cheap n cheerful .22 air rifle that I can teach them the basics with. Only saying .22 coz I have loads of pellets already!

Don't mind what age or condition (or even a project) as long as it shoots straight and it'll only be for plinking in the garden.

Anyone got owt in a shed/loft/garage they don't use please?

    Cheers

    Stratts

Might be a long shot but was looking at no more than 40 - 50 quid mate tbh.

No rush so don't mind waiting for a bargain!!

I will call a mate who has my old 22 air rifle, its nout special a gamo springer that i use for rating, if hes not using it ill see what you think off it,

no scope on it as it had modern day plastic ones and a integral 10 shot self loading tube on it too.

    regards

    bob.

Just picked up an old BSA Meteor in .22 I've replaced the trigger spring and breech seal. Re finished the stock and tightened up the action by reaming out and then fitting an oversize and now adjustable pivot pin to the break barrel action. Needs a scope, but if it get's a youngster into the sport it owes me 15 for the spring and seal. Let me know if it will suit your needs, and just pay the 15 plus postage.

    Best regards,

    Mark
