    variation help

    Hello help needed

I currently have on my ticket

    22 250

I recently applied for a 3030 for deer and fox

Was granted but no restrictions on front page so I rang them and they advised they would add deer and fox on it. I then got a call saying I already had a caliber for both and needed to explain ? I said I just wanted a light rifle to carry on my back when out. She said I had to put it in writing to jjustify the rifle, I was wondering if I should bother ?

    Any ideas ?

might be better telling them you require a suitable rifle for woodland/closeup stalking, with shots being taken at 30/80yds max.
